Creating green, the practice of designing and constructing buildings in an eco-friendly way, is one particular way to combat international warming. The Workgroup seeks to develop successful EPA leadership in the green constructing movement by jointly informing, coordinating, and guiding the development of Agency policies, programs, partnerships, communications, and operations that influence developing and development.
Sustainable buildings are created and constructed to high environmental standards and thereby minimise energy requirements, decrease water consumption, use materials which are of low environmental effect e.g. low embodied power and resource efficient, lessen wastage, conserve / boost the all-natural environment and safeguard human wellness and wellbeing.
